Senior Payroll Accountant

Summary

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a nonprofit organization
• Extensive experience in payroll management, general ledger accounting, financial reporting, AR, AP, and bank reconciliations
• Proven experience in managing and supervising payroll staff
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and nonprofit accounting standards (GAAP)
• Proficiency in accounting software and payroll systems (e.g., QuickBooks, ADP, Paycom)
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial analysis tools
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
