Join Rentable, a profitable, growth-stage martech and data SaaS company in the rentals industry, as their Senior People Operations Generalist. As an early member of the People team, you will partner with the Senior Director of Operations to build People programs and systems. You will handle day-to-day People tasks, including multi-state compliance, total rewards, and fostering a strong remote work culture. This role requires experience in a high-growth, remote environment and involves managing performance management, payroll, onboarding, benefits administration, and cultural initiatives. Requirements
- 4+ years of HR/People Operations experience at a startup or high-growth company, with a focus on remote work experience and multi-state people programs
- 2+ years of experience working in a fully remote environment
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Knowledgeable in employment laws and regulations
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S
Responsibilities
- Partner with leaders and employees on all aspects of performance management
- Run semi-monthly payroll in collaboration with the accounting team
- Lead the background check and I9 verification processes for all new hires
- Coordinate all new hire onboarding with direction from the Senior Director of Operations to include employee devices, system provisioning, swag, and onboarding scheduling
- Monitor employee benefits enrollments and administration of benefits programs
- Serve as a partner for culture initiatives and events, including the evolution of our remote culture
- Serve as the first point of contact for Rippling system questions; file support cases, investigate issues until resolution
- Stay informed about multi-state employment laws and regulations, partnering to implement updated practices as needed
- Identify areas for process improvement and automation within the People Operations team workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness while ensuring a strong employee experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Rippling, Slack, and Greenhouse
