Remote Senior Performance Engineer

Summary

AMVA.Dev is a tech recruitment and outsourcing company that hires experienced Performance Testers with strong scripting skills in various technologies and experience using Jenkins, Maven, and JMeter. The Performance Tester will be responsible for setting up complex test scenarios, monitoring performance issues, diagnosing bottlenecks, and developing performance test plans.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Performance Testing
• Solid scripting in http/html web, Java and web services protocols of JMeter
• Strong beanshell programming expertise with JMeter
• Jenkins, Maven, and JMeter CI experience Must
• Good Knowledge of AWS systems, Cloud watch, Load Balancers in AWS
• Understanding of web/app/db. layers, thread contention, network infrastructure
• Develop performance test plans based on discussions with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Setup complex test scenarios to model production workloads
• Monitor and collect result data, analyze and pinpoint bottlenecks
• Plan, design, execute and maintain different types of performance tests
