Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of PHP (3y+ or equivalent)
• Advanced knowledge of a modern PHP framework - Laravel preferred
• Familiarity with jQuery
• Intermediate knowledge of RDS (MySQL or Postgres) and data modeling
• Experience writing unit tests
• Experience deploying to AWS
• Proficiency using terminal and linux commands

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize back-end PHP applications using Laravel
• Work closely with engineers to design and implement new features
• Build scalable RESTful APIs that serve millions of users
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate with back-end services
• Work with jQuery, HTML5, CSS, and Bootstrap
• Ensure product quality by enforcing best practices and leveraging unit testing and continuous integration
• Conduct code reviews, coordinate releases and deploy services to AWS
• Stay current with emerging technologies to enhance development workflows and product quality

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Vue.js
• Familiarity with Zend framework
• Familiarity with Bootstrap
• Experience with containerization
