Senior Piping Designer

Summary

Join Edoxx Technical Services LLC as a Senior Piping Designer in Charleston, WV. Assist with the delivery of design and drafting services to clients and their customers. Participate in interactive planning meetings, utilize 3D model review software, coordinate design efforts with other engineering disciplines, and perform field work as needed.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in Piping Design
• PDMS/E3D Design and Draft experience
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of PID's for Production design
• Ability to provide Piping Isometrics utilizing PDMS design software
• Ability to verify Manhour estimates of design for cost control
• Coordinates/Integrates piping package with other design disciplines
• Required Safety program and presentation participation

Responsibilities

• Participate in the Interactive planning meeting to help develop schedule development to establish major milestones
• Be knowledgeable of client procedures, and project procedures and specifications
• Identify and request information in the form of a 'Needs List' to maintain schedule
• Utilize 3D model (PDMS/E3D/Navisworks) review software to monitor design quality and progress
• Coordinate the design effort with other engineering disciplines
• Participate in all design reviews for the project
• Perform Field Walk down of existing P&ID’s, shoot elevation with level & tripod, Locating tie point dimensionally, and Routing pipe through existing facilities
• Experience with executing projects within existing facilities with lots of obstructions and other design constraints

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of SharePoint is a plus
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint is a plus
