Senior Platform Engineer

Requirements

• 4+ years of deep experience with Kubernetes
• Proficiency with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud
• 4+ years of experience with modern programming languages

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure platforms that support mission-critical applications
• Develop platform APIs and host containerized applications
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment and scaling of applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement platform requirements
• Ensure the security and compliance of the platform by implementing robust security measures and conducting regular audits
• Monitor and optimize the performance of the platform to ensure high availability and reliability
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to the platform

Preferred Qualifications

• In-depth experience with relational and non-relational databases
• Experience: 7+ years of experience in platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, or a related field
• Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Ability to obtain a Security+ certification within 90 days of employment with Raft
