Senior Platform Engineer - Tooling

As an experienced engineer, you will take full ownership of AMT, automating and optimizing the migration process, enhancing security, and documenting the implementation. You will collaborate with various teams, including DevOps and the migration advisory team, to ensure successful large-scale migrations. This role requires strong operational systems understanding, proficiency in scripting and programming, and knowledge of SDLC and testing methodologies. Requirements

• Strong understanding of operational systems (Windows, Linux, MacOS, AIX)
• Strong proficiency in Shell scripting, PowerShell , and at least one higher-level programming language
• Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practices
• Basic knowledge of testing methodologies (test plans, test cases, regression testing)

Responsibilities

• Take full technical ownership of all aspects of AMT
• Automate and optimize the migration process
• Enhance and secure the current implementation
• Document the implementation and design a quality strategy for the product
• Collaborate with the DevOps platform team who provide infrastructure and CI/CD practices
• Assist our migration advisory team and partners with ongoing migration projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with automation tools (Chef, Puppet, Ansible)
• Familiarity with Java
