Summary

Join ZipRecruiter as a Senior Decision Scientist and leverage your SEO expertise to enhance our search engine optimization strategy. This role requires extensive experience in descriptive and predictive analytics, A/B testing, and data visualization. The ideal candidate will possess strong statistical computing skills and a deep understanding of SEO analytics. This is a hybrid or remote position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, computer science, statistics, or economics (or equivalent experience)
  • 4+ years of product analytics experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in SEO analytics
  • Experience designing experiments, testing, and utilizing statistical principles to inform business decisions
  • Proficient in statistical computing and scripting languages such as Python, R, SQL

Responsibilities

  • Utilize descriptive analysis to uncover insights related to user behavior
  • Monitor and report on SEO performance metrics
  • Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for optimization and SEO content creation
  • Design and analyze A/B tests to evaluate the impact of SEO initiatives on user engagement and conversion
  • Create dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders effectively
  • Building models to forecast future SEO performance, identify trends, and inform content and marketing strategies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s or Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as mathematics, computer science, operations research, economics
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in various areas, including probability and statistics theory, causal inference, experimental design and analysis, synthetic control, product ecosystems, and Bayesian inference
  • Experience in product analytics with a focus on user acquisition
