Summary

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience designing and shipping digital products (web & mobile)
  • You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in design (or related field)

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary product delivery team to define and scope new features for Abridge’s products
  • Create a full range of design artifacts to communicate the product vision and user interactions (e.g. user flows, wireframes, production ready UI)
  • Contribute to Abridge’s expanding design system and component libraries
  • Conduct discovery with doctors to understand how they use Abridge today, and how they dream of using it in the future
  • Combine insights from user feedback and analytics to identify trends and quickly iterate on designs
  • Work in lock-step with engineering, machine learning researchers, and QA to understand technical constraints, address edge cases, and ensure shipped features match your designs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Whether you’ve worked in healthcare or engaged with it as a patient or caregiver, you quickly find yourself getting fired up when offered the chance to change it for the better
  • You know your way around Figma in your sleep
  • You have a perfectionist’s eye for crisp interactions and visuals, but a pragmatist’s drive to ship products on time
  • You’re an empathetic communicator with a broad toolkit and know how to get your points across in-person or remotely
  • You are comfortable embracing ambiguity and energized by exploring divergent approaches to a problem
