Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a versatile designer who can own all facets of design (User research, UX, prototyping, and UI design)
  • An excellent portfolio, showcasing user-focused problems solved via interaction and visual design and ideation
  • Experience building and a solid understanding of developing AI applications that leverage Large Language Models
  • Strong working knowledge of design and prototyping tools, such as Figma
  • Passion not only for producing strong designs but also for the outcomes they have once shipped
  • Solid understanding of building usable, accessible, and modular designs that scale
  • Experience working with Product Managers to develop the strategy and solve problems for technical users

Responsibilities

  • Have a large impact on building the foundations of an outstanding design team and culture
  • Become a relentless advocate for delivering experiences that our users love
  • Lead the design of workflows that simplify complex actions into intuitive interfaces
  • Create strong cross-functional partnerships with Product and Engineering to develop strategy, facilitate design discussions, and ensure our implementation and user experience are of high quality
  • Collaborate closely with Design and Product leadership to inform and improve our design processes
  • Interview new team members and advise on our design hiring process
  • Lead by example - do great work and help others learn how you do it

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Data Visualization
  • Proficiency in web-based technologies such as HTML and CSS and with design frameworks, like Material-UI
