Senior Product Designer

Summary

Join GameChanger's Coach Crew team as a Senior Product Designer and play a pivotal role in shaping impactful experiences for coaches and coverage creators. You will lead the end-to-end design process across mobile and web platforms, partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver user-centered solutions. This role requires at least five years of experience in user-centered design, including native iOS and Android app development. You will conduct user research, craft intuitive designs, and contribute to the evolution of GameChanger's design practice. Requirements

• Have knowledge and an interest in sports
• Have been designing user-centered experiences for at least five years
• Have designed and shipped native iOS and Android apps
• Have a portfolio that showcases impact, processes, sketches, collaboration, and reflection; it should include at least two detailed case studies
• Have taken large problems and broken them down into bite-sized measurable chunks
• Have experience conducting user research, facilitating user interviews and user tests, digging through behavioral data, and synthesizing findings to identify trends and make recommendations
• Advocate for design by articulating and presenting the rationale behind your ideas
• Care about moving your team forward and look for ways to positively impact the team, not just the product
• Be focused on results and constantly looking to improve the user experience
• Take the time to seek out and provide meaningful feedback because you know it's the best way to grow
• Be self-aware and humble

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design process and ship experiences across mobile and web platforms
• Partner with cross-functional peers to influence the product through a user-centered approach
• Work iteratively to define problems and quickly find solutions
• Speak with customers frequently, collect insights, test assumptions, and translate research takeaways into meaningful outcomes
• Craft intuitive design flows, sketches, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI for mobile and web
• Help evolve and grow the design practice at GameChanger. Contribute to our design system, be vocal in design critiques, share inspirational resources, and aid in brainstorms
• Question the status quo and advocate for change
