Summary

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in digital product design (UX/UI), with a strong portfolio showcasing user-centred design solutions
  • Excellent collaboration skills, including effective communication and experience working closely with product managers, and engineers to craft a long-term vision and roadmap for your product areas
  • Exceptional visual design ability and a keen eye for detail, ensuring pixel-perfect, high-quality user interfaces
  • Experience with design systems, demonstrating an ability to maintain a consistent and scalable design language across products

Responsibilities

  • Work in a dual track agile process, taking full ownership of design projects from discovery to delivery, and driving a user-centred process that delivers impact
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure design solutions align with business goals and technical constraints
  • Champion the user’s perspective at every stage, using user research, data, and testing to inform design iterations and ensure the product is intuitive, accessible, and meets user needs
  • Contribute to and evolve our design system by creating and refining UI components and interaction patterns, ensuring a consistent, high-quality user experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience designing for a fintech product
  • You're curious, kind, low ego, and have a great sense of humour
  • Designed and built tools with small teams
  • Proficiency in coding is a plus. While not a requirement, your front-end know-how can help bridge the gap between design and development, ensuring a smooth transition for our Engineering team
