Senior Product Designer

Summary

Join Monte Carlo as a Senior Product Designer and design user experiences for our leading data observability platform. You will collaborate with a team of designers, engineers, and product managers to improve the quality and reliability of our customers' data. This impactful role allows you to design for the growing need for better data quality and consistency. You'll have autonomy to drive design decisions and work with a world-class team. The position is remote and open to candidates in the Americas. You will be responsible for creating delightful UX, owning the design process, and collaborating with engineering and product teams.

Requirements

• Seven years of experience in UX/UI design is required
• Track record designing impactful dashboards, data visualizations, and business collaboration workflows required

Responsibilities

• Create delightful UX for data engineers, data analysts, and anyone who interacts with data regularly
• Own the end-to-end design process for projects, including research, prototyping, design, iteration, user testing, and collaborative engineering handoffs
• Design simple solutions and then iterate on them as our product matures
• Collaborate closely with engineering and product to solve customer problems
• Understand technical constraints, user needs, and business requirements that shape the product

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise SaaS solutions and data solutions preferred
• Passion for gathering feedback from users to derive UX insights preferred
• Ownership mindset, iterative thinking, and relentless customer focus preferred
• Deep empathy for our customers with a focus on adding value and happiness
• Speed: A sense of urgency to get results and learn quickly
