Senior Product Designer

Summary

Join Stash's Product Design team as a Senior Product Designer to contribute to the Stash app and onboarding experiences. This is a temporary-to-permanent role focused on user-centered design, crafting seamless customer interactions, and ideating UX flows within the design system. You will simplify complex problems, contribute to positive behavior design, and collaborate with Engineering and Product teams. The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of UX design experience, excels in communication and collaboration, and can balance data with customer insights. A portfolio is required.

Requirements

• Ability to balance data with customer insights to inform design decisions
• Learning mindset with the desire to move fast and learn faster
• 5+ years of experience in UX Design
• Experience working with designers, product management, and engineering
• Proven track record of key contributions to successful products
• Portfolio required

Responsibilities

• Champion a culture of user-centered design and craft
• Relentlessly raise the design bar ensuring customers have seamless, consistent, and delightful interactions every time they use Stash
• Ideate and Design complete UX flows that fit into a larger design system
• Simplify complexity by breaking down tough problems and developing actionable solutions
• Contribute to positive behavior design thinking, ideas, and solutions to help customers develop healthy financial habits
• Foster collaborative relationships with Engineering and Product
• Actively contribute to constructive design reviews and deliver quality

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing complex applications in the fintech, health tech, or ed tech space
• Experience working with startups
