Senior Product Designer

Requirements

• 6+ years of industry experience as a Product, Interaction or UX Designer
• A portfolio that reflects your strengths in both UX and visual design skills, including multiple shipped projects on which you were the primary designer
• A product mindset with the ability to understand product goals, identify opportunities, and make decisions based on the impact to people and the company
• Been part of successful cross-functional and outcome-oriented teams
• An eye for detail and a high-bar for design quality
• Experience working in a technical environment
• Excitement about defining the problem as you do about exploring solutions

Responsibilities

• Taking broad, conceptual ideas and turning them into something useful and valuable for people using our products
• Collecting and analyzing user behavior data through a variety of channels, such as user testing, semi-formal interviews, observation, surveys, etc
• Conceptualizing designs from wireframes and visual mockups to prototypes
• Owning the end-to-end design (interaction, visual, etc.) across multiple features and projects
• Thinking holistically about complex systems, empathize with users, and understand goals to create compelling user experiences
• Collaboratively improving our design systems to ensure consistency and high quality experiences across all of our products
• Influencing design practices and team operations within a (mostly) remote team
• Staying on top of industry trends and emerging technologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience at early stage startup (Seed to Series A)
• Experience at companies building enterprise saas solutions for cloud, FinOps, finance, DevOps or devtools
• Experience working with HTML and CSS
• Prototyping in code, Figma, Framer or similar
