Senior Product Designer II

Summary

Requirements

• 6+ years in product design, with a portfolio demonstrating successful projects from concept to execution
• Strong ability to work quickly and autonomously with a startup mindset, managing projects independently
• Proven competence in working closely with technical teams to translate complex technical capabilities into intuitive user experiences
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a knack for bringing creative solutions to life
• Strong communication skills, capable of articulating design decisions clearly and persuasively

Responsibilities

• Lead the design process for consumer-facing and internal AI-driven projects
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering and product management, to iterate and deliver impactful design solutions
• Employ a holistic and strategic approach to design, ensuring the user experience aligns with the project’s objectives and our broader company mission
• Innovate constantly, identifying opportunities to leverage AI for enhancing user interaction and operational efficiency
• Balance creativity with practical execution, ensuring designs are both visionary and implementable

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in designing using LLM outputs, an AI-first mindset or designing for other emerging technologies
• A well-rounded design skill set, comfortable working across a broad range of activities from UX/UI to visual design
• A deep understanding of user-centric design principles and interest in user research techniques
• Experience working in or alongside startup environments, embracing ambiguity and rapid changes
