Senior Product Designer, Safety

As a Senior Product Designer, you will be involved in the entire product development lifecycle, from brainstorming to launch, focusing on user privacy, safety, and trust. You will design solutions that meet user needs and business goals, working cross-functionally with engineering, product, and analytics teams. This temporary, US-based role requires 5+ years of experience designing modern consumer products and a strong portfolio showcasing your skills in visual design and design systems. You will present designs, test and iterate, and contribute to the design system library. The role offers a competitive salary ($196,000-$220,500) plus equity and benefits. This is a remote position.

Requirements

• You have 5+ years of experience designing modern consumer-focused products
• You have a high level of skill at crafting high quality visual designs and have an eye for creating delight in every product experience
• A portfolio of work on which you were the primary designer contributing to high impact projects for both desktop and mobile
• You have meaningfully worked on, or with a design system
• You proactively form ideas and present them to your cross-functional team to develop strategy and roadmaps
• You collaboratively guide the vision for the product and achieve it through design explorations, documentation, and presentations

Responsibilities

• Designing solutions that cover everything – user needs, business goals, and all the nitty-gritty backend stuff that keeps our platform safe and secure. You take time to understand complex backend processes enough to deliver delightful user-facing experiences
• You will work cross functionally with Engineering, Product, Analytics teammates defining our Safety features
• You will create the flows, beautiful mockups, amazing prototypes, and help ensure it is implemented to pixel perfection
• You will present and communicate your designs to the team and the greater organization to build consensus around your concepts
• You will test, learn, and iterate on everything you do
• You will meaningfully contribute, maintain and commit to our Design System library
