Senior Product Engineer, AI

Summary

Join ZenGRC as a Senior Product Engineer - AI, reporting to the VP of Product and Technology. You will leverage advanced AI technologies, particularly LLMs, to enhance our GRC platform. This role blends deep AI expertise, focusing on recent LLM advancements, with strong software engineering skills. Key responsibilities include designing and developing LLM-powered features, implementing RAG systems, and optimizing large language models. You will collaborate with product managers and data engineering teams, mentor team members, and contribute to the product roadmap. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, 5+ years of software development experience, and strong LLM experience. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in software development
• Strong, recent experience with Large Language Models
• Demonstrated experience in LLM fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and deploying language models in production environments
• Proficiency in Typescript or Javascript, especially Node.js
• Familiarity with cloud-based LLM platforms and serverless architectures for model deployment
• Strong understanding of software design patterns and API development
• Experience with LEAN development methodologies and product development processes
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to balance technical possibilities with product requirements
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Design and develop LLM-powered features for intelligent artifact analysis, and GRC context in Typescript and Node.js
• Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems
• Implement and optimize large language models including fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and efficient deployment strategies
• Collaborate with product managers to identify opportunities for AI and LLM integration that align with user needs and business goals
• Stay at the forefront of AI and LLM advancements, recommending and implementing new techniques to enhance the product
• Contribute to the product roadmap by providing insights on AI and LLM capabilities and their potential applications in GRC
• Mentor team members on AI and LLM best practices and foster a culture of innovation in AI-driven product development
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure efficient data pipelines for AI model training and inference

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in or knowledge of GRC, cybersecurity, or related fields is a plus
