Summary

Join AnaVation as a Senior Project Manager and collaborate with customers, product owners, and technical staff to deliver complex technical projects. You will formulate work standards, assign schedules, review work, supervise personnel, and communicate organizational goals. Manage project teams, review financial reports, maintain staffing levels, and resolve issues. This hybrid role involves on-site work in Lorton, VA, with remote work also available. Requirements

  • A Bachelor of Science degree or Bachelor of Arts degree in a technical or business field, or equivalent experience is preferred
  • Seven (7) or more years of experience in relevant fields, and five (5) years of experience managing technical projects and programs as the single authorized interface with government management personnel
  • Project Manager Professional (PMP) certification is required; and knowledge of best practices in the management and control of personnel, funds, and resources for directing information system programs
  • Experience in complete program development from inception to deployment with the demonstrated ability to provide guidance, oversight, and direction at the program level
  • Extensive experience handling complex and conflicting customer requirements
  • Exceptional leadership and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Extensive experience managing government contracts
  • An active Top Secret clearance and the ability to obtain SCI access and a CI polygraph

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with customer supervisors, product owners, and AnaVation technical staff to develop and deliver complex technical projects
  • Formulate and enforce work standards
  • Assign program schedules
  • Review work
  • Supervise program personnel
  • Communicate policies, purpose, and goals of the organization to subordinates
  • Manage protect team staff
  • Review financial reports
  • Prepare Monthly Status Reports
  • Maintain adequate staffing levels
  • Demonstrate leadership and support to accomplish all tasks and activities identified in the task order
  • Communicate priorities and expectations to staff
  • Identify and resolve issues/conflicts within the project team
  • Manage funding and staffing level of effort projections
  • Facilitate procurements
  • Hire and onboard new staff
  • Participate in weekly/monthly status meetings with the respective government program manager and contracting officer representative
  • Ensure compliance with mandatory activities (e.g., training, travel, security procedures, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective
  • Familiarity with the software development life cycles, IT infrastructure, and technical concepts
  • Knowledge of digital forensic domain
  • Computer Network Operations familiarity
