Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• 7-15 years of experience in HVAC installation, pre-construction, and project management
• Strong knowledge of HVAC equipment, building automation, and controls
• Experience with capital budgeting and financial management
• Proven experience in bringing on and managing design teams
• Technical expertise in shutdown and startup sequencing for HVAC systems
• Experience processing CM and commissioning RFPs
• Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies
• Demonstrated success in managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across departments and influence stakeholders
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Proficiency in project management software and tools

Responsibilities

• Lead large capital projects from pre-construction activities through execution, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines
• Develop and manage capital budgets for HVAC projects, ensuring cost-effective solutions and adherence to financial constraints
• Bring on and manage a design team to develop project plans and specifications
• Oversee the execution of HVAC projects, including shutdown and startup sequencing, to ensure minimal disruption to operations
• Process Construction Manager (CM) and commissioning RFPs, ensuring comprehensive and competitive proposals
• Provide technical expertise on HVAC equipment, building automation, and controls
• Collaborate with engineering and facilities teams to ensure seamless integration of HVAC systems
• Work closely with existing stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure their needs are met
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones and deliverables
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes
• Manage project documentation, including budgets, schedules, and technical specifications
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes and outcomes
