Senior Python Developer

Summary

Join our team as a Software Engineer and contribute to the development of scalable software solutions for our client, a leader in threat detection and identification. Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and data scientists to implement, enhance, and maintain critical business workflows. This full-time, work-from-home position requires strong Python and SQL skills, experience with various Python frameworks and AWS services, and familiarity with big data technologies. You will ensure adherence to continuous improvement practices to meet quality and time-to-market goals. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience and excellent communication skills.

Requirements

• Strong Python programming skills
• Strong SQL skill and familiar with Postgres DBMS
• Working experiences with various Python frameworks
• Working experiences with various AWS web services and container based development and deployment technologies
• Understanding of ETL pipeline and exposures to Splunk, Spark, Hive, Kafka or other big data frameworks
• Good communication skills in English, written and spoken
