Summary

RYZ Labs is seeking a skilled Senior Python Engineer to join their team in Argentina or Uruguay. The candidate will design and develop secure backend services, focusing on API development, user authentication, and database management. Basic qualifications include proficiency in Django (Python) and PostgreSQL, strong knowledge of authentication protocols, experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and version control.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Django (Python) and PostgreSQL
• Strong knowledge of authentication protocols (JWT, OAuth2) and security best practices
• Experience with relational database design and optimization
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, DigitalOcean) and deploying backend services
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs for various services and applications
• Implement user authentication using JWT and OAuth2, including email verification and password reset flows
• Design and manage relational database schemas, ensuring data integrity and performance
• Integrate with cloud storage solutions for secure file management
• Implement role-based access control (RBAC) and permissions for different user roles
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability
