Summary

Join Stensul's growing Software Engineering team as a Quality Assurance Engineer and lead the cultural evolution through best practices. You will be responsible for test automation, monitoring, and creating reports to detect risks. Continuous research of new technologies and understanding customer needs are key. You'll design, develop, and maintain tests, ensuring quality in the CI pipeline. This role requires extensive experience in web application automation testing and working with various frameworks and tools. Requirements

  • Vast (4+ years) experience automation testing web applications
  • Experience developing using automation frameworks in Node/JS like WebdriverIO, NightwatchJS, Puppeteer, Cypress.io , etc
  • Experience working using Page Objects, UI maps, etc (widely accepted design patterns for Selenium)
  • Experience with CI such as GitlabCI, Jenkins
  • Experience in unit testing
  • Experience with bug tracking tools like Jira, Testrails, etc
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Fluent oral and written Spanish skills
  • Oral and written English communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead the cultural evolution in the Software Engineering team through the use of best practices to ensure product success, like test automation, monitoring, product specifications, pipelines configuration, testing strategy, etc
  • Create reports and metrics that detect risks of future quality issues
  • Continuous researching for new technologies and solutions to improve the quality, self-train and train software engineers on them
  • Understand in depth the customer's needs, observe behaviors in order to identify usage patterns to improve the quality assurance processes
  • Document the design patterns/best practices for the automation framework
  • Design, development and maintenance of tests
  • Be responsible for the development pipeline in terms of quality on CI

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing in another programming language (Node.js, Python, etc)
  • Experience working in agile environments like Scrum, Kanban, etc
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Good interpersonal and negotiation skills
