Summary

Join WorkMotion's Engineering Team as a Senior QA Automation Engineer and contribute to building a world without borders. You will drive the test automation strategy, design robust test suites, and ensure the quality and reliability of our products. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, leading CI/CD integration efforts, mentoring junior engineers, and promoting best practices. The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of experience in QA automation, strong programming skills in JavaScript, and experience with relevant frameworks and tools. Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in QA automation
  • Strong programming skills in JavaScript
  • Experience with test automation frameworks like Cypress or Playwright
  • Solid experience testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or Karate
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
  • Deep understanding of software testing principles, test design techniques, and QA methodologies
  • Knowledge of version control tools like Git
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test cases for web, API, and backend services
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define acceptance criteria and ensure comprehensive test coverage
  • Lead efforts in CI/CD integration, ensuring automated tests run reliably across pipelines
  • Perform code reviews, mentor junior QA engineers, and promote best practices for test automation
  • Investigate and report bugs and issues with detailed reproduction steps and logs
  • Ensure test data, environments, and tools are properly maintained and aligned with team needs
  • Proactively contribute to our quality culture and participate in improving testing processes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling)
  • Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS
  • ISTQB or other relevant certifications
  • Experience in contract testing or TDD/BDD
