Senior QA/Test Engineer

Summary

Join Version 1, a fast-growing global consultancy, as a Software Engineer in Test, Test Engineer, or Test Analyst. You will contribute to client business transformation by defining and executing test plans, identifying requirements, developing solutions, and providing ongoing guidance. Responsibilities include creating test documents, monitoring issues, and reviewing test environments for continuous improvement. The ideal candidate possesses experience in automation testing, manual testing, and working with various frameworks and tools. Requirements

• Confident with building and maintaining frameworks in one or more of these languages: Java, JavaScript
• Have practical experience with BDD Cucumber frame works
• Experience with RestAssured for API testing
• Have practical experience with postman
• Demonstrated experience of Automated Quality Assurance: Deliver overnight cross-browser, functional, non-functional, API, integration and acceptance tests
• Delivered front end cross-browser functional testing, device testing, exploratory, systems integration and user acceptance testing e.g. manual testing
• Have practical experience with open-source tools such as: Selenium and working knowledge of Cypress
• Develop and maintain high-quality automated test scripts using modern testing frameworks (e.g. Selenium, WebdriverIO, Cypress)

Responsibilities

• Define and execute test plan and scripts
• Accurate recording and monitoring of issues
• Reviewing test environments and processes to facilitate continuous improvement and maintenance of quality standards
• Providing test estimates
• Create Test Documents, Test Plan, daily status report and Test completion reports

Preferred Qualifications

• Integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation, experience with Azure Devops will be a great bonus
• Familiarity with performance, load and stress testing tools like JMeter
