Summary

Join our team as a Senior Quality Control Engineer and ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You will conduct various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing. Responsibilities include identifying and documenting defects, designing and maintaining automated testing scripts, collaborating with developers, and developing comprehensive test cases. You will also produce testing reports, mentor junior engineers, and participate in continuous improvement efforts. This role requires a bachelor's degree in a related field and 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance/testing
  • In-depth knowledge of testing methodologies and processes
  • Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, QTP, or equivalent
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, C#, or Python
  • Solid experience with SQL and ability to analyze data
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality products
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Conduct various types of testing including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing for software applications
  • Identify and document defects clearly and precisely using tracking tools like JIRA or similar
  • Design, implement, and maintain automated testing scripts to enhance testing efficiency
  • Work closely with developers and product managers to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software
  • Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases and test plans
  • Produce testing reports and present findings to stakeholders
  • Maintain documentation for testing processes, procedures, and results
  • Provide guidance and support to junior QC engineers and assist in their professional growth
  • Participate in retrospectives and other efforts to improve testing practices and team processes
  • Identify root causes of quality issues and propose preventive actions
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and performance testing as required
