Summary
Join MicroHealth as a Sr. Qlik Architect for a remote position with potential travel. This role involves leading business intelligence projects, designing analytical applications, and performing data modeling for Qlik dashboards. You will architect data for optimal performance, leverage your extensive knowledge of large-scale database technology, and create comprehensive documentation. A Qlik Sense Certification is preferred. The salary range is $120,000-$140,000. The position requires a Bachelor's degree and extensive experience in data analytics, ETL processes, and Qlik development.
Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, or related qualification
- Have experience implementing ETL/ELT data pipelines using custom (JavaScript, Python, PL/SQL, T-SQL, etc.) and packaged tools (e.g. Qlik Replicate, Informatica, DataStage, Talend, Pentaho, StreamSets, Matillion, FiveTran, etc.)
- Possess strong skills in databases, data warehouses, data modeling, and data processing
- Have experience with DevOps, Agile methodologies, and CICD methods and tools
- Have experience with star schema to build repositories, develop subject areas, and apply security, including group access and query privileges at object and data levels
- Possess Qlik Data Architect and/or Qlik System Administration Certification
Responsibilities
- Lead business intelligence projects
- Design and develop analytical applications
- Perform data analysis and data modeling for Qlik dashboards
- Architect data to provide optimal performance
- Understand the complete data analytics stack and workflow, from ETL to data platform design to BI and analytics tools
- Support the creation of written documentation to accompany all software systems designed to give new users a guide on how to operate them
- Perform hands-on Qlik development, dashboarding, and data modeling techniques
- Perform data integration through extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) from many sources
- Perform data transformation, the creation of QVD files, and set analysis
- Be efficient in front-end development and know visualization best practices
- Evaluate and analyze business needs and requirements to design solution alternatives
- Analyze systems and data sources to determine how to fulfill needs and requirements with available data
- Create data models to efficiently meet reporting and visualization requirements and business needs
- Design, construct and integrate Qlik and other data visualization solutions
- Conduct and support data validation, testing, and peer review
- Support the implementation of solutions through the development of technical and user documentation, facilitating and leading user trainings, and delivery of ad-hoc user support
- Leverage project management software to manage project delivery, requirements, enhancements, and bugs
- Create and contribute to the documentation of business processes, practices, and standards for planning, development, and implementation of solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Possess a Qlik Sense Certification
- Have experience with Qlik Mashups, APIs, and third-party Qlik extensions, including Vizlib
- Have experience with Qlik GeoAnaltyics
- Have experience with Web technologies
- Be familiar with agile development methodology
