Senior React Native Developer

Summary

Join CompanyCam, a leading photo documentation and productivity app for contractors, as a Senior React Native Developer on the Platform team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and development of the CompanyCam platform, contributing to its growth and evolution. Your responsibilities will include improving the experimentation framework, updating the eventing library, enhancing the mobile release process, and exploring new React Native architecture. You will own projects from start to finish and have the opportunity to pitch your own ideas for continuous improvement. As a senior developer, you will contribute to the culture and processes of the growing engineering team, particularly in the client engineering discipline, by sharing your expertise on patterns, code organization, and processes. You will also be encouraged to mentor other developers, ensuring the healthy growth of the codebase and the team.

Requirements

• Strong experience (4+ years) with and knowledge of React Native
• Experience with Apollo or Redux
• 5 or more years of experience working as a full-time professional developer . (Not all years of experience are created equal, so this one isn't set in stone)
• Reside permanently and currently somewhere in the U.S. Alas, we're not set up to hire outside of the U.S

Preferred Qualifications

• Native iOS or Android experience - While our app is primarily based in React Native, we do have some native modules
• Web Frontend Experience: This is mobile focused role, but if you have experience on the web and interest in contributing there are well we’d love to chat more about it. We utilize React with Typescript for our web frontend
• Android Studio & Xcode (mainly to run the mobile app)
• GraphQL & REST

Benefits

• This is a salaried position at CompanyCam
• Our salary range is $165,000 - $175,000 per year and is based on experience
