Senior React Native Developer

Summary

The job is for a Senior React Native Developer to work on an innovative healthcare project for a large pharmaceutical company. The role requires participation in software development, including design, development, unit testing, and technical documentation. The candidate should have at least 5 years of experience with component-based front-end frameworks, proficiency in JavaScript, and familiarity with native build tools.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with component-based front-end frameworks (Angular, React, Vue etc) with at least 3 years of experience with React Native
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including ES6+ syntax and features
• Experience with Redux, React Navigation, and other common React Native libraries
• Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Android Studio, and Gradle
• Experience in deploying apps to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store
• Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and third-party libraries/integrations
• Expert understanding of responsive design principles and experience working with designers to create polished, user-friendly interfaces
• Solid experience with writing unit tests using test libraries for React Native -  Jest, Enzyme
• Passion for building great mobile applications
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Experience with SCRUM development methodology
• Excellent spoken and written English

Responsibilities

• Participate in the architecture, design and development phase of software production
• Provide technical leadership and expertise to the other team members
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Deliver high-quality software with extensive Unit Testing
• Participate successfully in an established daily Scrum process

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with NodeJS
• Experience with GraphQL
• Familiarity with Accessibility
• Experience with Detox
• Has previously worked with language translations and right-to-left languages
• Has published apps for the App Store and Google Play
