Senior React Native Engineer

Summary

Join Justlife, a leading home services super app in the region, as a Senior React Native Engineer. You will play a key role in shaping the future of home services by designing and developing mobile applications for both consumers and internal operations. Collaborate with a team of engineers, product managers, and designers to build and maintain high-quality mobile applications. This role requires strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React Native, along with experience in RESTful APIs, Redux, and CI/CD pipelines. Requirements

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React Native development
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, Redux, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience using Git for source control
• Experience writing and maintaining unit, integration, and end-to-end tests (e.g. Detox or Maestro)
• Ability to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Solid understanding of SOLID principles and best coding practices
• A proactive, self-driven approach, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and business stakeholders to analyze requirements and develop solutions
• Design, implement, and maintain new features while managing the existing codebase
• Deliver high-quality code within set deadlines, ensuring clean, maintainable solutions
• Expand and maintain comprehensive unit tests and increase code coverage
• Optimize app performance to create smooth, responsive mobile experiences
• Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up-to-date with the latest trends and innovations in mobile app development
• Willingness to participate in our on-call rota

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Swift, Objective-C, Xcode, Java, Android SDK, and iOS SDK
