Requirements

  • Extensive experience building and shipping complex, performant software systems in C++, with a proven track record of ownership and impact
  • Expertise in real-time rendering technologies, including advanced lighting, shading, and optimization techniques
  • Deep understanding of 3D math, linear algebra, and other mathematical foundations relevant to simulation and rendering
  • 5–8 years of professional experience in related fields, showcasing progression in scope and influence
  • Collaborative, self-driven, and motivated to lead initiatives that shape the future of simulation technologies

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and evolution of Parallel Domain’s real-time sensor simulation technology, a critical component of our data generation platform
  • Act as a technical expert, collaborating closely with the content and pipeline teams to innovate and integrate cutting-edge solutions that enhance our simulation capabilities
  • Define technical direction for sensor simulation, architecting systems that power the training and validation of real-world computer vision systems
  • Work cross-functionally with other teams to ensure seamless integration of sensor simulation technologies across the platform
  • Continually evaluate and push the boundaries of computer graphics, bringing advancements into real-world applications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience leading technical projects or initiatives in simulation, rendering, or related areas
  • Advanced knowledge of linear blending techniques, animation systems, or physics-based rendering
  • Proven experience working with and extending commercial game engines (e.g., Unreal, Unity) in large, complex projects
  • Background in parallel programming, multi-threaded renderers, and performance optimization for large-scale systems
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to advocate for technical solutions effectively
