Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Main Technology: Strong expertise in Ruby on Rails
• Fullstack Knowledge: Some experience with JavaScript/ReactJS
• API Integration: Experience integrating third-party APIs, with a focus on authentication
• Database Management: Solid understanding and experience with SQL, Postgres, and MySQL. Ability to manage, query, and maintain databases (mandatory)
• Version Control: Proficiency with version control systems, especially Git

Responsibilities

• Write high-quality code
• Implement projects considering quality, maintainability, performance, scale, and observability throughout the development process
• Lead the back-end portion of projects from concept to release within a product engineering pod targeting a company goal
• Be a steward of quality, scalability, security, and performance
• Identify bottlenecks and implement improvements to engineering processes, tools, and procedures
• Promote a culture of collaboration and learning across engineering, product, and design via mentoring, documentation, presentations, or other knowledge-sharing methods
