Senior Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer

Summary

Join Nearsure's remote LATAM team and contribute to full-cycle development of Salesforce Commerce Cloud projects. As a Senior Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining eCommerce solutions, ensuring high-quality code and performance. You will also guide clients during product definition, mentor junior developers, and stay up-to-date on industry trends. This role requires a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, 5+ years of experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud, proven experience with SFRA and full-stack JavaScript development, and strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, Node.js, Web Services, and ReactJS.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ Years of experience working with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) or similar eCommerce platforms
• Proven experience with SFRA and full-stack JavaScript development
• Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, Node.js, Web Services (SOAP/REST), and ReactJS
• Experience consuming APIs like OCAPI and SCAPI
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and best practices in code quality and delivery
• Experience with CI/CD practices and deployment pipelines
• Familiarity with Salesforce Order Management or other Salesforce products
• Understanding of composable commerce and headless architecture approaches
• Experience with code reviews, test case creation, and system optimization
• Advanced English Level is required for this role as you will work with US clients. Effective communication in English is essential to deliver the best solutions to our clients and expand your horizons

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain eCommerce solutions on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC)
• Implement scalable system architecture and apply best practices in development
• Guide clients during product definition, offering value-added technical insights
• Ensure high-quality solutions with strong performance, security, and clean code
• Identify and resolve technical blockers and collaborate with team members to improve delivery
• Drive solution quality through code reviews and test planning
• Provide mentorship to junior developers and promote technical growth within the team
• Share knowledge and stay up to date on Salesforce releases and industry trends
• Act as a subject matter expert for both front-end and back-end development on SFCC
