Summary

Join Lyra Health as a Senior Salesforce Developer and play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining complex Salesforce solutions for our global clinician network. You will lead technical teams, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure high-quality solutions. This position offers the flexibility of working from our Johannesburg office, hybrid, or fully remote within South Africa. You will provide technical guidance to junior developers and contribute to innovation within the company. The ideal candidate possesses extensive Salesforce development experience and a strong understanding of Salesforce architecture. This role requires collaboration with colleagues across multiple countries.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce development
  • 2+ years experience leading the efforts of junior developers
  • Strong proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and other relevant Salesforce technologies
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and security
  • Experience with integration platforms (e.g., Mulesoft, Workato, Jitterbit)
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and development tools (e.g., Git, Jira)
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex Salesforce solutions
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications
  • Design scalable and maintainable Salesforce architectures, considering performance, security, and scalability factors
  • Develop custom Salesforce components using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and other relevant technologies
  • Create integrations with external systems using APIs, middleware, and other integration tools
  • Optimize Salesforce performance and troubleshoot issues
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce features and technologies
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and technological innovation
  • Contribute to the development of reusable components and frameworks

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator (preferred)
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (preferred)
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II (Nice-to-have)
  • Salesforce Certified Application Architect (Nice-to-have)
  • Additional relevant certifications (e.g., Sales or Service Cloud Consultant)
  • Experience working in an international company would be plus
  • Experience working in a healthcare company would be a plus
