Requirements
- Have an active secret clearance or ability to obtain one
- Have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Have 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer, with a strong understanding of Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and SOSL
- Have 5+ years of experience with Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP) and integration patterns
- Have 3+ years of proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Have 3+ years of experience with Salesforce development tools (e.g., Salesforce DX, Visual Studio Code)
- Have a strong understanding of Salesforce release management processes and best practices, including sandbox testing, regression testing, and production smoke testing
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy custom Apex classes, Visualforce pages, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and other Salesforce components to meet business requirements
- Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other systems using APIs (REST, SOAP) and integration platforms
- Write unit tests, perform code reviews, and participate in testing activities (including sandbox testing, regression testing, and production smoke testing) to ensure code quality and minimize disruptions during releases
- Support the planning and execution of Salesforce releases, including code deployments and post-deployment validation. Adhere to best practices for minimizing disruption during releases
- Analyze and optimize code for performance and scalability
- Work collaboratively with business analysts, architects, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including code comments, design documents, and user guides
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce releases, features, and best practices. Actively participate in continuous learning and professional development activities
