Summary
Join the OTIP Group of Companies (OGC) as a Senior Salesforce Developer - CRM and be a key part of the TE Digital team, delivering innovative customer experiences. You will design, develop, and implement Salesforce multi-cloud CRM solutions, collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Responsibilities include configuring Salesforce solutions, developing custom UI and programming logic, maintaining API integrations, conducting testing, troubleshooting issues, and working with the security team to maintain data integrity. You will also contribute to technical documentation, share knowledge, support the Salesforce Administrator, assess Salesforce release impacts, and stay current with best practices. This role requires a post-secondary education, Salesforce Platform Developer II certification (or equivalent), and at least 5 years of development experience with Salesforce CRM platforms. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Requirements
- Completion of at least 1 post secondary education a related field
- Certified Salesforce Platform Developer II or equivalent
- At least 5 years of development experience working with Salesforce CRM platforms
- Experience developing solutions for Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, CMS, Knowledge, and Experience Cloud (authenticated an unauthenticated)
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Apex, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Expertise in building, deploying, and optimizing LWC
- General web development experience
- Strong understanding of Salesforce sharing and security, including but not limited to roles, profiles, permissions
- Demonstrate understanding of cloud technology fundamentals and cloud-based security concepts
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and tools
- Highly analytical individual with advanced problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
- Highly motivated communicator with strong customer service acumen, capable of coordinating multiple external technology and business partners
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps, and DevOps processes & toolsets (like Gearset, Copado)
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and implement Salesforce multi-cloud CRM solutions that support OTIP initiatives
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business, identify and gather their requirements and needs, and translate them into technical specifications and Salesforce CRM solutions
- Configure necessary Salesforce solutions to meet business requirements
- Design, develop, and maintain custom Salesforce UI and programing logic in LWC and Apex
- Develop, maintain, and optimize API-based integrations between Salesforce CRM and other systems, ensuring data integrity and seamless data flow
- Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and regression activities to ensure reliability and performance of Salesforce CRM solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Salesforce CRM implementation, integrations, and data/content management
- Resolve incidents and problem tickets related to Salesforce CRM solutions
- Work with the TE Security team to maintain the security and integrity of OTIP’s Salesforce CRM solutions
- Source control and task management via Azure DevOps
- Contribute to technical documentation
- Share knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities and product features. Support the creation of training materials
- Support the Salesforce Administrator, as needed
- Assess Salesforce seasonal release impact and lead efforts to keep OTIP’s Salesforce implementations current
- Monitor and stay current with Salesforce CRM best practices, new features and updates and proactively identify opportunities to enhance OTIP’s Digital Solutions, improve efficiency and effectiveness
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional Salesforce certifications are desirable e.g., Certified Salesforce Administrator, Certified Salesforce Platform App Builder, JavaScript Developer I
- Experience with multi-lingual Salesforce implementation is a highly desired asset
- Experience with Salesforce OMNI channel and MIAW approaches and solutions is an asset
- Experience with Salesforce Mobile Publisher implementation is an asset
