Summary
Join ZipRecruiter as a Senior Salesforce Engineer and contribute to the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions. You will serve as a technical lead, driving best practices, troubleshooting complex issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and implementing scalable customizations using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and declarative tools; automating business processes; troubleshooting technical issues; and developing integrations with AWS Services and third-party systems. You will also perform code reviews, build CI/CD processes, and leverage advanced scripting and automation knowledge. This role requires 6+ years of professional development experience, including at least 3 years as a Salesforce developer with expertise in Apex and LWC. A deep understanding of Salesforce architecture and proficiency in other programming languages are essential.
Requirements
- 6 or more years of professional development experience, including at least 3 years specializing as a Salesforce developer with expertise in Apex and LWC
- Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and governor limits
- Proficiency in using other programming languages to develop integrations or Salesforce utilities that streamline processes
- Advanced scripting and automation knowledge (Bash, Python, Go, etc.) and proficient in writing SOQL Queries
- Experience with Salesforce deployment tools and CI/CD pipeline implementation and enhancement
- Solid knowledge of Salesforce security model (profiles, roles, permission sets, field-level security), including compliance requirements like SOX or GDPR
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement scalable and maintainable customizations using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and declarative tools
- Automate business processes through triggers, flows, and validation rules
- Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues in Salesforce applications and integrations
- Design, develop, and maintain integrations with AWS Services and third-party systems
- Perform code reviews for adherence to best practices
- Build and extend our current CI/CD processes
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Ability to troubleshoot, resolve, and document technical issues in the Salesforce environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proven capacity to anticipate obstacles and plan for contingencies
- Assess and adjust plans based on agile principles, while embracing uncertainty and navigating ambiguity
