Summary

Join BryceTech as a Program Manager supporting the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA). You will leverage your extensive experience (15+ years) in vaccine/therapeutic development, regulatory/clinical studies, diagnostics, manufacturing, or pharmaceutical portfolio management to provide concept ideas, draft work statements, review proposals, and manage project and program portfolios. This remote position requires an advanced degree and significant experience in a relevant field. Requirements

  • At least fifteen (15) years of relevant industry experience, including executive‐level service(s) with an advanced degree
  • (1) for vaccine and/or therapeutic development efforts: a doctoral degree in biological or chemical sciences with relevant postdoctoral experience is required or
  • (2) for regulatory and/or clinical studies: application of doctoral degree(s) in medicine or pharmacy with commensurate experience(s) or
  • (3) for diagnostics PhD in appropriate life sciences field (immunology, molecular biology, biochemistry, microbiology, or similar), or Masters or Bachelors (with commensurate experience) of science in a physical science field (engineering, physics, computer science, or similar) or
  • (4) for manufacturing capacity or
  • (5) for pharmaceutical/advanced drug development portfolio management: a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Biology with at least 15 years experience in pharmaceutical facility architecture and application in commercial building construction or an advanced degree in business with experience in pharmaceutical product development and Total Life Cycle Cost (TLCC) management

Responsibilities

  • Provide concept ideas for BARDA Program Division(s)
  • Prepare draft work statements (SOW, SOO, PWSIGCE & Cost Estimates) for solicitations [Request for Information (RFIs), Request for Proposals (RFPs), Sources Sought Notices (SSN), et al]
  • Review and advise on contract proposals (formally and informally submitted), as requested
  • Provide project development level portfolio management and oversight but in technical and administrative areas
  • Provide program level portfolio management and oversight
  • Develop, implement, and consciously improve Total Life Cycle Cost (TLCC) efforts
  • Assist in contract negotiations on technical matters, as requested
  • Deliver briefings on relevant subject matter for ASPR/BARDA Senior Leadership
  • Serve as scientific and technical representative for the Program Office(s) concerning the project management of the advanced development, licensure, and acquisition(s) of medical countermeasures, including regulatory and clinical pathways and establishment of manufacturing capacity
