Requirements

  • A minimum of 5+ years in SEO with at least 3+ years in a leadership role setting strategy and driving growth at a high level
  • Demonstrated mastery of Google’s algorithm updates, with a relentless commitment to staying current with the latest SEO trends, best practices, and industry developments
  • Experience in the YMYL niche and EEAT is a must
  • Experienced working with SaaS products managing multiple SKUs (we offer over 100 unique legal forms, each with their own niche market and associated keywords)
  • You’re decisive, an effective communicator, and a team player, with courage in your convictions, willing to defend your ideas and push back when necessary
  • Proven experience managing large budgets, accountable for labor spend, software and resources, and any outsourced support you may need

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own a comprehensive SEO strategy that drives organic traffic, enhances website performance, and boosts conversions
  • Leverage in-depth SEO audits, competitive analysis, and performance insights to set the direction for our SEO initiatives
  • Define clear KPIs and measure success, continuously refining strategies to meet business objectives
  • Stay ahead of emerging trends and algorithm updates, ensuring our strategy remains innovative and best-in-class
  • Take full responsibility for the technical health of our website, including Core Web Vitals, schema markup, and overall performance optimizations
  • Own the configuration, setup, and ongoing management of key tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO platforms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, etc.) to implement technical improvements and ensure optimal site performance
  • Partner with the Director of Content to align SEO strategy with our content roadmap, amplifying our organic reach
  • Work with cross-functional teams and external partners to execute high-impact SEO initiatives that drive both traffic and conversions
  • Set up robust tracking & reporting systems to provide regular, actionable insights on SEO performance to leadership - ensuring transparency and data-driven decision-making
  • Maintain a hands-on approach with analytics tools to optimize campaign performance and quickly adapt strategies as needed
