Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent
• 4-6+ years of relevant work experience in SEO agencies Executing SEO tasks for on-page, off-page, and technical
• Strategizing de novo in at least one direction: on-page, off-page, and technical
• Analyzing data and reporting to clients in a regular cadence
• Fielding client questions directly
• Familiarity with A/B testing, heat mapping, and UX principles
• Strong understanding of SEO tools like SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console/Google Analytics, etc
• Knowledge of WordPress or other content management systems, familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Strong attention to detail and proven ability to execute against plans
• Ability to manage multiple projects based on priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Analyze site data, determine next steps for each client's SEO work
• Plan & execute tasks in collaboration with other teams
• Communicate updates about progress to clients
• Perform ongoing keyword research including the discovery and expansion of keyword opportunities
• Research and implement content recommendations for organic SEO & UX success
• Execute tests, collect and analyze data and results, identify trends and insights
• Develop and implement link building strategy
• Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code
• Regularly meet with clients to present work completed & results, account for strategy, answer questions, and tactfully speak to the next batch of scheduled work
• Stay ahead of Google algorithm updates and industry news, supporting the SEO team's overall stance as a strategic & consultative partner for all clients
• Assist with quality assurance efforts on all website projects
