Remote Senior ServiceNow System Administrator

Summary

Join Business Computers Management Consulting Group, LLC (BCMC) as a ServiceNow Platform Administrator! This remote position requires 5+ years of experience and a BS in Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related technical degree (or 10+ years of experience). You will administer ServiceNow instances, manage upgrades and deployments, resolve help desk tickets, and ensure system security. Strong experience in an Agile environment and knowledge of ServiceNow systems administration are essential. Requirements

• 5+ years of experience or 10+ years of experience in lieu of a degree
• BS in Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related technical degree
• U.S. Citizenship
• Knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in ServiceNow systems administration and support
• Demonstrated experience with upgrading systems, software migrations, and resolving help desk tickets
• Experience configuring mid-servers
• Strong experience deploying in an Agile Environment

Responsibilities

• Upgrade all ServiceNow instances when updated versions are released, including preparation, testing, and bug fixes
• Set up and configure ServiceNow instances, including cloning, update sets, API and Restful web services integrations, certificate management, and MID-Servers
• Perform routine maintenance, including performance monitoring and error identification/remediation
• Manage Instance Security, User/Group Access/Access Control Lists
• Manage deployment of update sets and synchronization of changes between multiple ServiceNow instances
• Resolve help desk/support tickets for reported incidents or defects
• Adhere to internal standards, policies, and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned
