Responsibilities

  • Provide Administration services such as system maintenance, technical troubleshooting
  • Interfacing with ServiceNow Customer Support using Hi-Wave for technical support
  • Managing roles and access to the system
  • Experience in upgrading all instances when ServiceNow releases updated versions that require preparation, testing, and bug fixes across production and non-production environments
  • Perform all necessary patches and communicate with ServiceNow for technical support
  • Adhere to OIT change management processes when upgrading and patching the Production environment
  • Prepare and manage Upgrade/Patch Notes to document the fixes/ changes/ enhancements included in each system upgrade/patch
  • Support the upgrade/patch process using standard ChM tools
  • Prepare and submit an Upgrade/Patch Package, which includes the technical release instructions, scripts, schedule, and other documentation
  • Manage data connections and configurations from MECM, JAMF, SolarWinds, Tenable, and BigFix Service Graph Connectors (SGCs)
  • Work with other functional teams such NIEHS IT Operations and Maintenance (O&M) contractors to troubleshoot data quality, functional, and data connections connectivity issues

Job description

Clearance: Public Trust

Place of Performance: Remote, but must be able to work 8:00 - 5:00 EST

Years of Experience: 8+

Education/Certification Requirements: BS, Engineering, Management Information Systems of Related Technical Degree or 10+ years of Experience. ServiceNow Certification a Plus.

Specific Duties

This position will provide the Administration services such as system maintenance, technical

troubleshooting, interfacing with ServiceNow Customer Support using Hi-Wave for technical support, managing roles, and access to the system.

  • Experience in upgrading all instances when ServiceNow releases updated versions that require preparation, testing, and bug fixes across production and non-production environments.
  • Experience in major upgrades will be in accordance with NIH Center for Information Technology (CIT) Office of IT Services Management (OITSM) guidance.
  • Perform all necessary patches and communicate with ServiceNow for technical support.
  • Adhere to OIT change management processes when upgrading and patching the Production environment.
  • Prepare and manage Upgrade/Patch Notes to document the fixes/ changes/ enhancements included in each system upgrade/patch and support the upgrade/patch process using standard ChM tools.
  • Must prepare and submit an Upgrade/Patch Package, which includes the technical release instructions, scripts, schedule, and other documentation.
