Senior Shopify Developer

Summary

Join Power Digital, a tech-enabled growth firm, as a front-end developer. You will design, develop, test, and debug responsive web and mobile applications using Shopify, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. This role requires expertise in front-end technologies, experience with various frameworks and libraries, and proficiency in collaborating with creative teams. You will translate user and business needs into functional front-end code and leverage Power Digital's Nova ecosystem. Success will be measured by project timeliness, task fulfillment, and code quality. Good communication, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency are essential.

Requirements

• Experienced in core web technologies JavaScript, CSS, HTML5
• Expert/Advanced experience in front-end technologies and user experience Like React, Vue or Angular, NextJs or Nuxt, TypeScript, WebPack, Gulp, SASS
• Shopify Theme Development Experience
• Advanced in developing and testing web-based, mobile-web-based, and fully responsive web applications using JavaScript frameworks and libraries
• Advanced experience in collaborating with the creative team to ensure quality of work
• Experienced in service integrations (Web Services, CMS / Commerce systems, 3rd party APIs, etc.)
• Experienced with Figma and/or Zeplin
• Experienced in upholding established development processes (e.g. code reviews, style guides, pattern libraries)
• Experienced and proficient in source control (BitBucket/Github)
• Proficiency in spoken and written English at an advanced level

Responsibilities

• Developing, and testing UI for desktop and responsive websites
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Accurately translate user and business needs into functional frontend code
• Employ AI technologies to enhance and optimize business processes
• Utilize and leverage Power Digital's Nova ecosystem as it relates to your department
