Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Summary

Join PointClickCare's Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team as an SRE, reporting to the SRE Manager. Collaborate with Software Engineering and IT teams to manage and maintain Kubernetes clusters, build efficient pipelines, and provision resilient infrastructure in Azure. You will focus on improving operations, automating processes, and ensuring stability and reproducibility across operating environments. This role requires proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, scripting (Python/Bash), Linux server environments, Ansible, Terraform, and Git. Requirements

• Be proficient with Kubernetes and Docker
• Have familiarity with Puppet, Kafka, Redis, MySQL
• Have scripting proficiency in Python/Bash
• Be proficient with working in a Linux server environment
• Be proficient with Ansible and Terraform
• Be proficient with Git

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Kubernetes clusters in support of development teams deploying and promoting microservices across environments
• Maintain a stable, efficient build pipeline that minimizes the time required to bring code enhancements and new functionality to our customers
• Build and provisioning resilient processes and infrastructure in Azure
• Work to improve operations and processes to enable developers to fully own and successfully operate the services they are introducing
• Automate all the things: to ensure stability, efficiency, and consistent reproducibility across our operating environments
