Requirements

  • Atleast 3 years of experience in a global multi-tenanted production environment
  • Hands on skills on Kubernetes, AWS/GCP/Azure, Terraform/Cloudformation/Ansible
  • Strong knowledge on Linux fundamentals, experience troubleshooting production issues
  • Experience working in SRE and a 24x7 production environment
  • Understanding of SRE and general SaaS service management principles
  • Strong collaboration, communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to operate calmly in challenging and stressful situations
  • Unlike other roles at Precisely, this position will work with FedRAMP and as such the applicant must be a US citizen

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with SaaS Engineering to deploy application, infrastructure updates and routine maintenance
  • Set up monitoring alerts to manage our cloud native infrastructure in a reliable, maintainable, observable and secure way
  • Available for on call duties for incident response and blameless postmortems
  • Contribute to building playbook documentation and procedures
  • Ability to identify and write automation scripts to eliminate Toil
  • Collaborate with Federated Security and compliance teams to implement and maintain security controls and measures
  • Able to work on the FedRamp environment with specific focus in infrastructure build out and application deployment
  • Shadow Senior SRE and contribute to improving the CI/CD pipeline

Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to any programming language (Go/Python/C,C++) is a big plus
