Summary

Anichess is seeking an experienced Senior Smart Contract Engineer to join their team. The candidate will design, develop, and deploy smart contracts for a chess-inspired blockchain game, collaborating with various teams to ensure the integration of blockchain technology into the gaming ecosystem. A background in blockchain technology and software development is required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years focused on blockchain and smart contract development
• Proficiency in Solidity and experience with Ethereum development tools (e.g., Truffle, Hardhat, Remix)
• Strong understanding of blockchain concepts, decentralized applications (dApps), and decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy secure and efficient smart contracts on Ethereum and other blockchain platforms
• Collaborate with product and design teams to define and implement smart contract functionalities that enhance the Anichess gaming experience
• Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and auditing of smart contracts to ensure robustness and security
• Optimize smart contract performance and gas efficiency
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in blockchain technology and smart contract development
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices for smart contract development
• Work closely with blockchain developers, front-end developers, and other stakeholders to integrate smart contracts into the overall game architecture
• Contribute to the development of documentation, including technical specifications and user guides

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with other blockchain platforms (e.g., Binance Smart Chain, Polygon) is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of chess is a plus
