Senior SOC Engineer

Summary

Join Encora as a Senior SOC Engineer and be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient software applications. Lead technical projects, mentor junior engineers, and continuously improve software development practices. This remote position is located in Peru, Colombia, Costa Rica, or Bolivia. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, professional English skills, and 5+ years of experience. You will monitor and analyze security events, respond to and mitigate incidents, and provide threat intelligence and reports. High integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail are essential.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
• Professional/ Advanced English skills
• +5 years of experience
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail
• Pragmatic problem solver and organizer
• Ability to communicate technical issues to peers and management
• Proficiency with Splunk SPL, PowerShell and API
• Experience with TCP/IP, firewalls, IPS and networking
• Experience with Tenable products
• Experience with vulnerability analysis and threat intelligence
• Experience with Linux and Windows system administration
