Requirements

• Passion for technology and tight collaboration with business and development teams to build winning solutions
• Versatility in engineering, with proficiency in both frontend and backend development, enabling you to deliver comprehensive, full-stack solutions that enhance our platform’s capabilities
• Strong understanding of testing best practices
• Comfort guiding technical design discussions and facilitating technical decision making
• A growing passion for driving processes and improving software development productivity for everyone
• Proficient in using and designing RESTful APIs
• Mentorship to other engineers through coaching, design, code reviews
• Strong knowledge of web technology stacks
• Experience with agile development using Scrum or Kanban

Responsibilities

• Leading and rapidly implementing foundational change and refactoring to support ambitious growth and cross-cutting improvements to the platform architecture
• Contribute to the transition of our application to a service-based architecture
• Collaborate with our Architects, Tech Leads, and Product Managers across portfolio teams to identify and propose scalable solutions to business problems
• Mentor and coach other developers, provide technical guidance, and help foster an environment of knowledge-sharing and feedback
• Contribute to our API strategy and support our teams in designing and developing the latest version of our customer-facing API based on industry standards and best practices
• Investigate next-generation technologies to solve current and future technical challenges
• Pioneer enhancements in system performance, taking a proactive role in elevating our platform’s responsiveness and efficiency. Engage in critical analysis and optimization initiatives that redefine the user experience and operational agility
• Drive strategic upgrades to enhance our platform’s capabilities, ensuring it stays ahead of industry trends and meets evolving business needs
