Requirements

• The development team at Jane primarily works with Ruby on Rails, but applicants with experience in Java, C#, Python, and Go are also welcome
• Proficiency in modern frontend technologies: React, Typescript, bundling tools (Webpack, ESBuild…)
• Systems design and dealing with technical complexities on solutions or projects
• The ability to share technical details clearly and a documentation approach that reduces cognitive load for the team and increases shared context of the problem space
• Applying API design principles
• Operating within agile methodologies delivering incremental delivery of value to customers, working closely with PM and UX Designer
• Influencing a team from an engineering or operational excellence point of view
• Developing software in regulated industries like healthcare or payments
