Summary

Join PingWind as a Software Engineer and lead the development and maintenance of software applications and systems. You will architect solutions, write efficient code, implement tests, and provide technical leadership. Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
• Ten plus (10+) years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and maintenance of software applications and systems
• Experience in developing computer software code
• Experience in a variety of software programming languages
• Architect solutions for complex business requirements, ensuring scalability, security, and performance
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in line with best practices
• Implement unit tests and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability
• Continuously improve and refactor existing code to enhance performance and scalability
• Provide technical leadership and strategic direction in software development projects
• Collaborate closely with product managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications
• Work with DevOps and QA teams to ensure smooth deployment, testing, and monitoring of software applications
• Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) including planning, analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment
• Ensure timely delivery of software projects, adhering to project timelines and budget constraints
• Identify potential risks and technical challenges, providing solutions to mitigate them
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices
• Drive innovation by identifying opportunities to adopt new tools and technologies that improve software development processes
• Utilize version control systems to manage code changes and collaborate effectively with team members
• Follow established coding and development standards to maintain code consistency and quality
