Requirements

• Possess strong knowledge of AWS services
• Have in-depth understanding of Linux internals
• Demonstrate a broad understanding of technology, encompassing security, database architecture, and AI vision
• Be highly motivated, proactive in identifying areas for improvement, and comfortable with Agile development practices (Scrum or Kanban)
• Be highly focused on automation to eliminate toil
• Be empathetic and collaborative, working effectively as part of a team
• Have 5-7 years of experience managing AWS resources in a professional setting
• Have 5-7 years of experience implementing DevOps practices in a small-to-medium business
• Have 1-3 years of experience managing standalone Linux platforms
• Have 1-3 years of experience managing machine learning pipelines

Responsibilities

• Ensure the security of personal data; implement network segmentation, cross-account/region/VPC network transit, client VPNs, zero-trust authorization, OAuth, SAML, and data encryption
• Maintain the technology infrastructure; manage AWS resources using Terraform, Kubernetes clusters, Prometheus, Loki, Grafana, and OpsGenie
• Improve the developer experience; support various deployment methods (FluxCD, Helm), firmware development, and ensure developer productivity
• Manage data; ensure secure storage, cataloging, use for machine learning and analytics, and proper deletion of data

Preferred Qualifications

• Have opinions on the best choices between managed services and DIY solutions in AWS, considering cost and effort
• Stay updated on AWS news and announcements
